Never Build Alone
Pass It On exists because of this chapter. Owners who build alone make slower decisions, repeat avoidable mistakes, and carry weight they were never meant to carry by themselves.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”Proverbs 27:17
The Lesson
Loneliness is a business risk
Owners make their worst calls when no one else has heard the plan out loud. A room of peers catches the flaw in the idea before the market does — and the market charges far more for the lesson.
Sharpening requires friction
Iron sharpens iron through contact, not proximity. A fellowship that only encourages you is half useful. You need people who will tell you the price is wrong, the hire is wrong, or the plan is wishful.
Bring the real number
Community only works when you bring the truth — the real revenue, the real fear, the real challenge. Vulnerability is the admission price to genuine help.
Put It Into Practice
Do these three before the next chapter.
Put the next Pass It On meeting on your calendar and treat it like a client appointment.
Write down the one problem you have not told anyone about — that is what you bring to the table.
Identify one owner a season ahead of you and ask them one specific question this month.
Bring It to the Table
What are you carrying right now that you have never said out loud to another business owner?
Learn It. Do It. Pass It On.
