Five Moves That Unlock Growth

Hard-won lessons from owners who've hit the same ceiling — and broken through it.

  1. 1.Name the real challenge

Growth stalls for one main reason at a time — leads, cash flow, pricing, people, or your own time. Guess wrong and you'll fix the wrong thing. Bring it to a meeting and let the room help you name it.

  2. 2.Raise your price before you raise your costs

Most owners underprice out of fear. If everyone says yes instantly, you're too cheap. A 10% price increase usually costs you fewer customers than it adds in profit.

  3. 3.Build one repeatable lead channel

Referrals are a blessing, not a plan. Pick one channel — referrals with an ask, local partnerships, or simple content — and work it every week until it produces predictably.

  4. 4.Hire for the seat, not the emergency

Write down what the role owns before you post it. A rushed hire to stop the bleeding usually reopens the wound — with payroll attached.

  5. 5.Review the numbers monthly, not yearly

Revenue, margin, cash on hand, and pipeline — thirty minutes a month with another believer who will ask you the hard questions. What gets measured gets managed.

"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."

Proverbs 15:22

The challenge you can't see is the one someone else can spot in five minutes. That's the whole idea behind "Bring Your Biggest Challenge" — bring yours to the next meeting and let the fellowship sharpen it with you.
